"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Want to give it 5 stars, but ….

"I wish I could give this 5 stars like it should deserve. But unfortunately there were a few issues. 1) the bench legs were not constructed level. So it required that I put 2 thick layers, stacked upon each other of those felt protectors to make the bench level so that it didn’t rock back and forth while seated. And yes, my floor is perfectly level. 2) This other issue is partly my responsibility of course, but I wish the company who filled my order would have notified me and warned me that I had chosen a bench length that was incompatible with the table legs. When I was selecting my purchase of bench lengths, I reasoned matching bench length and table length made sense— “why not get more sitting area,” was my thought, but in reality a shorter length bench was warranted in order to exit the bench at the ends. When the bench is scooted up to the edge of the table, a person cannot exit the bench without being trapped by the table legs. I didn't consider this as a factor, which is my error, but this is the kind of thing that if you were in a store, you would try the bench lengths out and realize that my selection of length of bench was not compatible with the table legs I had purchased. This would be a non issue if the table I ordered didn’t have legs at each end corner, but I didn’t think about this fact until actually living in it. 3) the finish and color (I got the dark wood finish) is beautiful. 4) I find the plank that stabilizes the bottom of the bench to be awkward for my feet when stepping near the bench to put food on the table. I end up stepping on the plank of wood and it puts me off balance. I wish this design didn’t have this extra piece of wood underneath. 5) The delivery process was great, no issues and the delivery went smoothly All in all I’m generally happy with my purchase. I just think that for the amount I paid and the custom nature of the product, it warrants a bench with level construction, and for the people who process the orders it’s a shame that there was a lack of attention to measurement detail for their customers."
