Vivien Side Table - Oat on Oak
Vivien Side Table - Oat on Oak
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
A Welcoming Presence in Your Living Space
The space beside your favorite armchair or at the end of your sofa is where comfort meets daily routine. The Vivien Side Table, measuring 24", is designed to bring a grounded, intentional presence to these cozy corners. Handcrafted from solid oak, it offers a beautiful balance of functional surface area and quiet, understated design.
Natural Oak and the Warmth of Oat
We selected solid oak for its enduring strength and prominent, expressive grain patterns. Finished in our gentle Oat tone, the wood's natural character is allowed to shine through, offering a soft warmth that complements both classic and transitional interiors. This finish highlights the unique story of the wood, ensuring that your side table is a one-of-a-kind piece with its own distinct character.
Thoughtful Proportions for Everyday Living
At a versatile 24" size, the Vivien Side Table fits comfortably next to seating, in cozy reading nooks, or as a bedside companion. It provides an ideal platform for a reading lamp, your morning coffee, or a favorite book. Built by hand with time-honored techniques, this table is designed to withstand the rhythms of daily life, from quiet mornings to lively family gatherings.

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
