Vivien Side Table - Sable on Oak
Vivien Side Table - Sable on Oak
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
A Grounded Presence Beside Your Favorite Chair
The spaces where we unwind at the end of the day deserve furniture that feels intentional and permanent. The Vivien Side Table, measuring 24 inches, is designed to bring a quiet, grounded presence to your living room, reading nook, or bedside. Handcrafted from solid oak, it offers a beautiful balance of functional surface area and thoughtful, understated design.
The Rich Depth of Sable on Solid Oak
We select solid oak for its enduring strength and prominent, expressive grain patterns. Finished in our deep, warm Sable tone, the wood's natural character and texture are beautifully highlighted. This rich finish brings a refined warmth to your home, ensuring the table complements both classic and transitional interiors while celebrating the unique story of the wood.
Thoughtful Proportions for Daily Routines
At a versatile 24" size, the Vivien Side Table fits comfortably next to an armchair, sofa, or bed. It provides the ideal platform for a reading lamp, a morning cup of coffee, or a favorite book. Built by hand with time-honored techniques, this table is designed to withstand the natural rhythms of daily life, from quiet mornings to lively family gatherings.

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
