The Olivia Dining Table in Satin on Black Walnut brings a natural richness to our classic, beloved design. Its substantial turned legs add visual rhythm beneath a solid walnut top, and the wood's deep color gives the piece an elegant, lasting presence.
Solid Black Walnut, Satin Finish
James & James makes each Olivia table to order from solid black walnut. The Satin finish adds a soft, low sheen and protection for daily use while letting walnut's natural browns and flowing grain speak for themselves.
Crafted for Everyday Elegance
The Olivia is built for a home that uses its dining table often. Our furniture makers pair solid walnut with careful construction to create a lasting piece for weekday meals, holidays, and everything in between.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
