The dining table is the true heart of the home—the place where morning coffee naturally transitions into evening conversations, homework sessions, and shared family meals. The Allyson Dining Table is designed to be the steady backdrop for these everyday moments, offering a thoughtful balance of classic design and enduring functionality. It is a piece built not just to fill a room, but to welcome family and guests alike.
A Beautiful Balance of Classic and Contemporary
Handcrafted from solid Alder hardwood, the Allyson Dining Table features beautifully detailed turned legs. This traditional design element offers a nod to heritage craftsmanship, while the clean lines of the tabletop ensure the piece feels entirely at home in contemporary spaces. Alder wood is celebrated for its warm tones, fine, even grain, and natural character, ensuring your table is uniquely yours and rich with organic detail.
Built for Real Life and Daily Gathering
We believe that furniture should be lived in, not just admired from afar. The Allyson is built to handle the beautiful chaos of daily life—from holiday hosting to quiet weekday routines. Our craftsmen select and work the solid wood to highlight its natural beauty, creating a sturdy, reliable piece that only grows more cherished with time. Because each table is made to order, it carries the care and attention of a dedicated furniture maker.

"I’ve been obsessed with the idea of a round dining table forever and love that I found James+James for a hand-crafted dining solid wood version. It’s stunning!"
"Over the holidays we received a lot of compliments and were able to have the entire family at one table this year! The craftsmanship and quality is outstanding. The order and delivery process is great. James+James stands by the quality of their work."
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
