This tabletop is approximately 1.75" thick with a 3.5" apron (frame of the table), and the table has a standard dining height of 30". To determine the clearance underneath the apron, subtract 5.25" from the total table height of 30".

To find the distance between the legs (sides), subtract 11” from the total length selected.

To arrive at the distance between legs (ends), subtract 9” from the total width selected.

Please note that each measurement is an approximation, as these pieces are hand-built. We allow for up to 1" in variation to accommodate the unique nature of handcrafted furniture.

To preserve the beauty of your piece for years to come, we recommend cleaning with a soft cloth, water, or a gentle wood-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive products, as they can compromise the finish and damage the surface. Always use trivets or coasters beneath hot or wet items to protect against heat and moisture.

For lasting quality, place your furniture in a stable indoor environment, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperature fluctuations. Each piece is crafted for indoor living and is not suited for outdoor use.

To properly store a wooden table leaf when not in use, keep it flat in a clean, cool, dry, and shaded area, such as under a couch, bed, or in a closet. Avoid leaning it upright to prevent warping. In humid environments, wrap the leaf in a vapor-resistant material, like an old bed sheet, to protect it from moisture and mold. Always ensure the storage location is free from extreme temperature fluctuations or direct sunlight, which can damage the wood.

If an expandable table leaf doesn’t fit properly after storage, it may need time to reacclimatize to the table due to natural wood expansion and contraction. Place the leaf in the same environment as the table for a few days to adjust to the temperature and humidity. Once acclimated, fit the leaf into the table, checking for debris or misalignment. Avoid forcing the fit to prevent damage, and make small adjustments as needed.
