James & James is an American furniture brand founded in 2011 in Springdale, Arkansas. We design and build custom furniture in our Arkansas woodshop, using solid American hardwoods — knotty alder, red oak, and black walnut. Every piece is made to order, fully customizable in size, stain, and finish, and built to be passed down for generations.

Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
