A Welcoming Addition to the Heart of Your Home
There is something uniquely comforting about a bench. It invites people to sit a little closer, lingering longer over shared meals and morning coffee. The Heirloom Bench, handcrafted from solid alder wood, brings this sense of warmth and togetherness to your dining room, entryway, or the foot of your bed. Finished in our warm Harvest Wheat, it highlights the natural character and gentle grain of the alder, making it a welcoming focal point in any space.
Thoughtful Design and Enduring Craftsmanship
Traditional design while remaining clean and versatile enough for modern living. Every bench is built to order by skilled furniture makers who understand that furniture isn't just for display—it is meant to be lived on, gathered around, and passed down. The solid alder construction provides a sturdy, reliable foundation that stands up to the rhythms of daily family life.

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
