Emersen Oval Dining Table - Charred Ember on Alder
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
A Gathering Place Designed for Conversation
The dining table is the heart of the home—the place where morning routines begin, homework is tackled, and family and friends gather to share stories over a long meal. The Emersen Oval Dining Table, handcrafted in a versatile 6' length and 42" width, is designed to make those moments feel natural and comfortable. Its smooth oval silhouette softens the lines of your dining room, removing sharp corners and naturally inviting conversation from every seat at the table.
Honest Materials and Refined Character
Crafted from solid Knotty Alder hardwood, this table showcases the authentic character and natural grain patterns unique to real wood. The rich Charred Ember finish highlights these organic details, offering a deep, refined tone that anchors your dining space with quiet confidence. Because we use solid hardwood, no two tables are exactly alike, giving your home a truly unique piece of furniture that tells its own story.
Built for Everyday Living
Each table is thoughtfully made to order by skilled artisans who understand that furniture should be lived in, not just looked at. After careful shaping and sanding, the solid wood surface is sealed with a protective polyurethane finish. This safeguards the wood against the beautiful chaos of everyday life—from spilled drinks to holiday feasts—preserving its enduring quality for generations to come. Bring a piece of honest, American-made craftsmanship into your home with a table designed to gather the people who matter most.

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
