Bailey Dining Table - Tobacco on Alder
Bailey Dining Table - Tobacco on Alder
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
At the center of the dining room, the Bailey Dining Table brings a sense of permanence to the everyday. The turned legs give it a traditional, handcrafted character, while the straightforward top keeps the design practical for the meals, conversations, and occasional overflow of life at home.
Tobacco on Solid Alder
Crafted from solid alder and finished in Tobacco, this table carries a rich, welcoming wood tone. The finish highlights the alder's natural grain and variation rather than masking it, so no two made-to-order tables are exactly alike.
Comfortable in a Collected Home
The Bailey is equally at home in a casual dining area or a more formal room. Its balanced silhouette can ground a space filled with vintage finds, upholstered seating, or clean-lined pieces without asking the rest of the room to conform to one style.
Handcrafted to Last
Each Bailey Dining Table is built to order by the James & James team. Solid-wood construction and an enduring design give it the substance to support daily use and the presence to remain a meaningful part of the home for years to come.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
