Bailey Dining Table - Charred Ember on Alder
Bailey Dining Table - Charred Ember on Alder
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
The Bailey Dining Table gives everyday meals a setting that feels considered without feeling precious. Its turned legs bring a familiar, furniture-maker's detail to the room, while the clean tabletop keeps the overall design grounded and easy to live with.
Charred Ember on Solid Alder
Crafted from solid alder and finished in Charred Ember, this Bailey has a deep, warm presence that anchors a dining room. The natural grain and variation of the wood remain visible through the finish, making each made-to-order table individual.
A Classic Form for Real Gatherings
The Bailey's silhouette is rooted in traditional dining furniture, but its restraint allows it to work in homes that lean classic, transitional, or more contemporary. It creates a dependable center for shared meals, conversation, work, and the rituals that gather people around the table.
Made to Order in Solid Wood
Every Bailey Dining Table is handcrafted by the James & James team with attention to material, proportion, and lasting use. It is a solid-wood piece designed to become part of a home rather than a temporary addition to it.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
