The Abigail Sofa Table offers a useful surface and a sense of welcome wherever your home needs a little more intention. Its graceful turned legs bring traditional character to an entryway, hallway, or seating area without making the room feel overly formal.
Tobacco on Solid Alder
Crafted from solid alder, this version is finished in Tobacco for a rich, warm wood tone. The finish works with the alder's natural grain and variation, so the character of the timber remains an important part of the table's appearance.
A Considered Layer for Living Spaces
Use the Abigail to frame a sofa, give a hallway a finished look, or create a landing place for lighting, books, and personal objects. The table's balanced form makes it easy to incorporate into a room that is already gathering pieces over time.
Built for Life at Home
Each Abigail Sofa Table is made to order by skilled craftspeople at James & James. Solid-wood construction and a timeless profile help it serve the everyday work of a home while retaining the warmth that makes a room feel personal.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
