The Vivien Sofa Table brings an intentional layer of warmth to the places a home moves through most. Its clean-lined profile makes it a natural fit behind a sofa, along a hallway, or in an entry where a useful surface can help the room feel finished.
Harvest Wheat on Solid Alder
Handcrafted from solid alder and finished in Harvest Wheat, this version carries a warm, golden-brown character. The wood's natural grain and variation remain part of the story, giving every made-to-order table a presence that is individual to the material.

The Vivien offers a place for lighting, books, photographs, or the small details that welcome people home. Its simple silhouette adds structure to a room without asking for attention, making it easy to live with as furnishings and routines evolve.

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
