Vivien Sofa Table - Espresso on Oak
Vivien Sofa Table - Espresso on Oak
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
Order real wood and fabric swatches to see how each finish looks in your space, lighting, and style before you commit.
The Vivien Sofa Table brings depth and purpose to the in-between spaces that make a home work. Its clean silhouette creates a natural place for a lamp, a favorite object, or the everyday essentials that otherwise have nowhere to land.
Espresso on Solid Oak
Made from solid oak and finished in Espresso, this table has a rich, dark wood tone with the oak's expressive grain still visible beneath it. Natural variation is part of what makes each made-to-order piece distinct.
A Grounded Presence for the Room
Use the Vivien behind a sofa, along a passage, or near the front door to add a useful layer without introducing visual clutter. Its restrained lines allow it to complement a range of interiors while giving the space a sense of calm and completion.
Built to Be Lived With

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."
Solid hardwood furniture, made by hand in Arkansas since 2011
James & James is an American furniture brand founded in 2011 in Springdale, Arkansas. We design and build custom furniture in our Arkansas woodshop, using solid American hardwoods — knotty alder, red oak, and black walnut. Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
