Whether paired with a matching dining table or placed in a hallway to greet guests, this bench serves as a beautiful, functional addition to your daily routines.
Solid Oak in a Deep Espresso Finish
Crafted from genuine solid oak, this bench showcases the enduring strength and expressive grain patterns of natural solid hardwood. Our rich Espresso finish brings out the wood's unique character, offering a deep warmth and refined tone that complements a variety of home styles. This timeless finish allows the natural beauty of the oak to remain the focus, making it a versatile piece you will cherish for years.
Thoughtful, Versatile Proportions
Measuring 4 feet in length, this bench is thoughtfully sized to provide comfortable seating without overwhelming your space. It tucks neatly under a dining table when not in use, keeping your dining area open and easy to navigate, or stands beautifully on its own in an entryway, mudroom, or at the foot of a bed.
Handcrafted to Last
Every bench we build is made to order by skilled craftsmen who respect the natural character of the wood. Because we use real solid oak, each piece features its own unique knots, grain variations, and subtle color tones. This ensures your bench is truly one of a kind—an heirloom-quality piece built with enduring quality to serve your family for generations.

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
