Live Edge Bed
Live Edge Bed
Custom, American Hardwood Furniture
A Natural Centerpiece for Restful Nights
The bedroom should be a sanctuary—a quiet space defined by comfort, warmth, and natural beauty. Our Live Edge Bed brings the organic character of the outdoors inside, creating a grounding centerpiece for your daily routines. Handcrafted in the heart of the Ozarks, each bed is built to order, ensuring that your home receives a truly unique piece of furniture designed to endure for generations.
What makes this bed truly special is the celebration of the wood's natural silhouette. Our craftsmen carefully work with the organic lines of the timber, hand-cutting live edges that highlight the unique grain, knots, and character of the wood. No two headboards are exactly alike, making your bed a one-of-a-kind work of art that tells its own story.
Thoughtful Design and Options
To suit your personal style and space, we offer this bed in two headboard heights. The Standard Height Headboard features a single, beautifully defined live edge cutout for a clean yet organic look. For those seeking a bolder statement, our Tall Headboard Height features multiple live edge cutouts, showcasing even more of the wood's natural movement and character.
We build our beds with sturdy, reliable joinery to ensure a quiet, stable foundation for a lifetime of serene sleep. If you use an adjustable mattress, please contact our design consultants directly before placing your order so we can ensure a seamless fit for your specific setup.
At James & James, we believe in making furniture that feels like a natural extension of your life. From the selection of the solid wood to the final hand-applied finish, every step of our process is guided by a commitment to honest craftsmanship and enduring quality.

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
