A Sanctuary of Comfort and Craftsmanship
The bedroom is more than just a place to sleep; it is a personal retreat, a quiet space to unwind at the end of the day and gather your thoughts for the next. The Holden Bed is designed to be the grounding centerpiece of this sanctuary. Framed in solid maple wood with our warm Harvest Wheat finish, it brings the organic beauty of natural timber into your home, creating an inviting atmosphere that feels both grounded and refined.
What sets the Holden Bed apart is its thoughtful silhouette. The headboard features gently curved edges that wrap inward, subtly hugging the sides to create a deep sense of warmth and intimacy. This particular California King bed is upholstered in rich Toffee Leather, a material that feels wonderfully soft to the touch and will develop a beautiful character over years of daily use. Combined with the clean lines of the maple frame, the leather upholstery offers a balanced contrast that honors both contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship.
Built for Everyday Living
We believe that furniture should be as functional as it is beautiful. Built to order by skilled furniture makers, this bed is constructed with a standard 48-inch headboard height and includes a robust slat support system, providing a reliable foundation for your mattress without the need for a box spring. Every joint, edge, and surface is carefully finished to highlight the unique grain patterns of the solid maple, ensuring that your bed is truly one of a kind.

Our Customers Love Us
"I could not be happier with the level of customer service James & James provided. Also on an earlier order with the table, I made a mistake in the order and they went out of their way to make it right."

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
