A Thoughtful Balance of Form and Function
Every living space needs a quiet anchor—a place to rest a morning cup of coffee, display a cherished book, or set down a reading lamp at the end of the day. Built to fit comfortably alongside a sofa, armchair, or bedside, it brings both functional surface area and natural warmth to the daily routines of your home.
Crafted from solid Alder, this table features our Charred Ember finish, a deep, rich tone that highlights the natural grain and unique character of the wood. The defining characteristic of this piece is its floating top design, which creates a subtle visual lightness, making the solid wood structure feel balanced and intentional rather than heavy.
At James & James, we believe in furniture that is built for real life. Each end table is made to order by skilled craftsmen who honor the natural variations of the timber, ensuring that your piece is uniquely yours.
If you need your furniture a little faster, don’t worry — we've got you covered! Check out our Ready to Ship section for beautiful pieces that are built and ready to head your way.

Inside Our Arkansas Workshop
Solid American Hardwoods
Every piece begins with premium American hardwoods — knotty alder, white oak, and black walnut — hand-selected, dried, and processed in our Arkansas facility before a single cut is made.
Precision-Shaped Components
Legs and pedestal bases are shaped to exacting specifications in our Arkansas woodshop, then hand-inspected and refined by our craftsmen before they ever reach the assembly floor.
Built by Hand & Made to Order
Each piece is built one at a time by our artisans to your specifications, using solid hardwood construction and time-tested joinery designed to hold up for generations of real family life.
Hand-Finished for Life
Our in-house finishers apply your chosen stain and protective topcoat by hand, ensuring even color, rich depth, and a durable finish that ages beautifully with use.
